And of them there are some who say: “Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!”

Recite one tasbeeh in morning and evening or after every compulsory prayer

“O my Lord! Make me one who performs As-Salat, and from my offspring, our Lord! And accept my invocation.

“Our Lord! Forgive me and my parents, and the believers on the Day when the reckoning will be established.”

Dua 6 – Surah al-Baqarah Ayat/Verse 138

Recite as much as you can every day

The Sibghah of Allah and which Sibghah can be better than Allah’s? And we are His worshippers

Dua 7 – Surah 24 – Surah An-Nur (The Light) – ayat/verse 35

Recite at least once a week

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His Light is as (if there were) a niche and within it a lamp, the lamp is in glass, the glass as it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east (i.e. neither it gets sun-rays only in the morning) nor of the west (i.e. nor it gets sun-rays only in the afternoon, but it is exposed to the sun all day long), whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself), though no fire touched it. Light upon Light! Allah guides to His Light whom He wills. And Allah sets forth parables for mankind, and Allah is All-Knower of everything.

Dua 8 – Surah 9 – Surah At-Taubah (The Repentance) – ayat/verse 129

Recite once daily or at least once per week or month

But if they turn away, say  “Allah is sufficient for me. La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), in Him I put my trust and He is the Lord of the Mighty Throne.”
